Gaylord Rotary - Four Avenues of Service

Each December, the Rotary Club of Gaylord sponsors a free movie for the children of the community. Provided in conjunction with the Gaylord/Otsego County Chamber of Commerce, parents are invitied to drop their children off for a free movie at the Gaylord Cinema, chaparoned by Rotarians, and enjoy shopping in the beautiful Alpine Village.

Adopt-a-Highway

The section of I-75 between the South and North Gaylord exits ( 279 and 282) has been kept cleaned due the Rotary Club of Gaylord's active participation in this program.

Glidden / Gaylord Youth Orchestra

In 2005, the Rotary Club of Gaylord started a partnership with the Gaylord Chamber Orchestra. By assisting with the funding for the Youth Orchesta "Strings 'N Things" program, the style and uniqueness of chamber music was introduced to middle school students. This program has continued each year thereafter and the money is dontated in loving memory of Steve Glidden.

Literacy and Health Projects

The Rotary Club of Gaylord is currently accepting applications for funding of Literacy and Health related projects. The Literacy goal is to provide 250 books to the community in some capacity. The Health project goal is to be a collaborative project with another agency and/or service club on a new project for the Gaylord community.

Aspen Park Cross Country Ski Groomer.
Venison for the Needy program.
